Who will be cleaning my home?

You can look forward to your property being services by a highly vetted, background checked, & well-trained cleaning technician that is both insured and bonded and always employed by Spotless Squared directly (no third party arbitrage). Your satisfaction is guaranteed.

What time will Spotless² be at my home?

Our arrival window is 15 minutes before & after the time selected during booking. Be rest assured we will report any deviations immediately.

Do I need to prepare my home in any way before the cleaning?

Please do not clean or sanitize before your maid service arrives, that's our job!

For the most efficient and effective cleaning possible, simply pick up any clutter (toys, clothing, trash, etc.) in the areas of your home that will be professionally cleaned. Any valuable or delicate items can be set aside or noted in the notes section. Please arrange for pets to be in a safe & comfortable space while your cleaning takes place so we don't disrupt their peace.

Dishes should be placed into the dishwasher to allow your maid access to clean the Kitchen sink & countertops, unless you've selected "Clean Dishes" add-on. Laundry and linens should be tided & collect in a basket, unless you've selected "Load of Laundry" add-on.

Do I need to provide cleaning supplies or equipment?

No, that will not be necessary. Our cleaning technicians will be stocked with all the equipment and supplies necessary to fulfill your service. If you have any preferences in terms of products or equipment, please let us know.

What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?

If you need to change a scheduled cleaning visit, please provide at least a 48-hour notice. When this isn't possible, no worries, you'll simply be charged a $69 cancellation fee. If your scheduled cleaning falls on a major holiday, we will contact you to reschedule your service.

Can I provide my cleaners with specific cleaning preferences or requests?

We love tailoring our services to your individual needs!

When booking your cleaning, you'll have the opportunity to leave detailed instructions on specific areas you'd like us to focus on or any special requests you have. You also have access to an online portal, where you can update any requests.

We're happy to accommodate most requests, from using specific cleaning products, to focusing on particular areas & tasks in your home. If you're unable to leave your notes during checkout, or if you have another request prior to your cleaners arriving, please direct any last minute changes & requests you may have by giving us a call at 725-222-8859. If applicable, we will explain any additional charges and confirm your request will be handled.

Please understand that our maids have been instructed to perform only the tasks they've been given authorization to execute, which originate based on your checkout selections & notes and within the mobile app. Thank you for your support.

What if something is damaged during the cleaning?

We treat your property and home with the utmost respect and care. However, in the unlikely event damage or a breakage occurs while we are cleaning, Spotless² will make every effort to repair, or if necessary, replace the item. When appropriate, an insurance claim will be filed.

What happens if I'm not satisfied with the cleaning?

Your satisfaction is our top priority! We offer a 24-hour guarantee on our residential maid services. If you're not completely happy with any aspect of your cleaning, simply let us know within 24 hours, and we'll gladly return to address your concerns at no additional cost.

Am I liable for worker's compensation, insurance, or employment taxes?

No, Spotless² will take care of all of the above. Many homeowners are surprised to learn of personal liability regarding work-related injury and social security taxes for independent home-service workers. That's why we handled it on the front-end.

Do I need to be home for Spotless² to provide Tampa Bay's best cleaning service?

Feel free to stay or leave during your cleaning service, our maids will be locked into performing your custom cleaning, verifying deliverables and receiving special instructions or guidance through the Spotless² app. Only the assigned cleaning technician will receive access to your home. We are capable of keeping a key on file, setting up a lockbox, utilizing gate codes & garage codes, and also provide an "additional notes" section during checkout for you to provide any special instructions. Please note that if our cleaning technician is unable to access your property for a scheduled cleaning, no worries, a $69 lockout fee is all you pay.

How do I pay for the service and what types of payment are accepted?

During booking, simply enter your credit card information (your card will only be processed once your service has been completed), or select personal check (when selecting checks, please let us know where to find it in the "additional notes" section). Thank you for your patronage!

Do your maids accept tips?

While tips are never expected, our maids are allowed to accept them.

Some clients prefer to tip a little at the end of each service, while others enjoy offering a large tip during the end of year Holiday occasions.

One of the principle issues in any business, and especially those in the service industry, is talent. Know that Spotless² pays its workers hourly wages in the top ten percent of Tampa Bay. This allows us to attract wonderful people and focus on developing their skill set within the professional residential & commercial cleaning industry. Anything else I should know?

Our maids have to wear slip-resistant footwear at all times. Fortunately, they are in possession of an outside pair of shoes, and their inside clean maid shoes!

When you need us to clean your oven, please ensure you run the Self Clean function prior to our arrival. This function can take up to 3 hours.

When selecting "Load of Laundry" add-on, we will collect your laundry and start the wash, then transfer the clothing to the dryer. If your service time length allows, then we will also fold your clothes. For recurrent cleaning customers, we also offer Dry Cleaning Pick-Up/Drop-Off.

When our maids come across unorganized clutter, they have been instructed to collect the items and organize it in a pile near its place of origin.

With dishes, they have been instructed to place them into the dishwasher and start the wash with on-site dishwasher fluid. They are unable to handwash dishes due to liability; delicate items such as China or Champagne flutes can easily break.

Vinyl blinds are very easy to damage; maids can dust these, but wiping/wet wiping these types of blinds is something we do not offer due to liability.

If clutter impacts how long your cleaning takes, no worries, you may receive a small additional charge for time spent tidying up prior to servicing your home. Nothing significant, we're as fair and focused as possible.

Human or animal biohazardous material (litter boxes, urine, feces, mucus, vomit, blood, etc.), as well as pest infestations cannot be cleaned. We will need to charge a cancellation fee if these conditions are discovered prior or during your cleaning. If you have any questions or concerns, please give us a call at 725-222-8859.

If a light fixture or a fan is too high to be reached from ground, we will use a 2 step stool and cleaning extension poles. Our maids cannot climb ladders. Thank you for your understanding.

If you have a Flat Screen TVs, Laptops, or Tablets: The displays are fragile and cleaning recommendations vary significantly, damage can occur easily. Our maids will dust these items.
